Rules of last coin in carrom

Pocketing Last Coin When Queen Is Not Covered

This section deals with the situation if you are pocketing any last coin (yours or the opponent’s) when the queen is not covered, that is, the queen is still on board.

1) Pocketing your opponent’s coin when the queen is on the board

While covering the queen (or when queen is on board), if you pocket your opponent’s last coin then you will lose the board by the number of your coins lying on the board along with the points for the queen. However, If the score of your opponent is 22 or above, the carrom board coins points for the queen will not be deducted points.
If the above happens in an improper stroke, then your opponent can demand an additional point. So remember these carrom rules for last coin.

2) Pocketing your own last coin when the queen is on the board

If you pocket your last coin by a proper stroke but the queen is still on board you will lose the round by 3 points (1 point if the opponent’s score is 22 or above). In case of an improper stroke, the opponent can demand one additional point.

3) Pocketing opponent’s last coin and your own coin when the queen is on the board

If you pocket your last coin and also your opponent’s last coin but the queen is still on the carrom board then your opponent gets those 3 points (1 if his score is more than 22). If your strike was improper then your opponent can demand 1 additional point.
