1) Kapil Dev

He has a record of 774 runs in his first Test series against England, scoring over 10,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs; Gavaskar had a successful career.

4) Sachin Tendulkar

Known as the "Little Master," Sachin Tendulkar started his career at 16. Sachin holds a record of 30,000 runs in International cricket and is the only Indian player to score 100 international centuries. Sachin Tendulkar is regarded as the second-best ODI batsman after Viv Richards.

He was born in Bangalore on October 17, 1970, and made his test debut in November 1989 against Pakistan.
