He ended his batting that day, with 175 runs out of 66 balls, including 17 sixes and 14 fours and a strike rate of 265.15. He also holds the co-joined record of scoring the fastest half century in T20.

The second player to claim the second spot with his version of the fastest hundred in T20 of all time is none other than, Indian player Risabh Pant. It happened during the 2018 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where Delhi was up against Himachal Pradesh. Rishabh Pant came on the pitch to bat for Delhi, chasing a target of 145 runs in 20 overs. Pant and Gautam Gambhir chased the entire target on their own for Delhi, and Pant scored off his hundred out of 32 balls. It is the second-fastest century in T20 of all time and the fastest century by an Indian. He finished that day with 116 runs off 38 balls, including 8 fours and 12 sixes.

The third player who claims the spot with his T20 fastest 100, is Wihan Lubbe. It happened during the T20 Cup Africa back in 2018, during a match between North West and Limpopo. Lubbe came in and dismantled the opposition bowlers with his furious batting innings. He scored his hundred out of only 33 balls, making it the third-fastest century in T20 of all time. He finished with 102 runs out of 36 balls, with 5 fours and 11 sixes to his name.

He ended his innings with 112 runs off 43 balls that day, along with 3 sixes, 18 fours, and a 260.46 strike rate.

He finished his batting that day with 118 runs off 43 balls, with 12 fours, 10 sixes, and a strike rate of 274.41. Rohit Sharma's fastest century in T20 is still talked about to this day, as the fastest T20 century in cricket. No one has topped his record of the fastest century in T20 by an Indian.
