How to play the flashcard game/ Teen Patti game step by step:

Step 1: Basics & Dealing cards

  • The dealer is chosen randomly. The cards are dealt clockwise, and everybody is dealt three cards.
  • The betting starts with the player on the left of the dealer. The betting continues in clockwise order around the table.
  • Each player can put an additional bet to stay in, bet nothing, and fold.
  • The amount you must put in to stay in the game depends on the current stake. It also depends on whether you are playing blind or seen.
  • In the beginning, the current stake is the minimum bet. During the game, the current stake is the bet placed by the player betting before you.

The term "donkey card game" doesn't refer to a specific or widely recognized card game. It's possible that the term is used colloquially or locally for a particular card game, or it might be a playful name for a made-up or informal card game. Without specific rules or context for the "donkey card game," it's challenging to provide detailed information.

Step 2: Seen or blind

  • The players can look at their hands before betting (playing seen) or leave their cards face down on the table (playing blind).
  • Blind players can see their cards at any time during the game. The once blind player sees their cards, they become a seen player.
Flush card game rules

Step 3: How to bet:

If you are a blind player (that is you did not look at your cards)

  • If the player is betting before you are seen, you have to bet at least half of the current stake OR bet the amount of the current stake. For Example: if the player before you is seen and bet 20, you can bet either 10 or 20.
  • If the player is betting before you are blind, you must bet a minimum of the current stake or twice the current stake. For Example: if the player before you are blind and bet 20, you can bet either 20 or 40.

If you are a seen player

  • If the player is betting before you are seen, you have to match the current stake at least OR bet twice the current stake. For example: if the player before you bet 10, you can bet either 10 or 20
  • If the player before you bet blinds, you must bet a minimum of twice the current stake OR four times the current stake. For Example: if the player before you are blind and bet 10, you can bet either 20 or 40

"Hearts Card Game" is a classic and popular trick-taking game played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. The objective is to avoid acquiring penalty points, usually associated with certain cards. Players try to avoid taking tricks that contain hearts or the Queen of Spades. The game typically involves four players, each playing individually.

Step 4: The betting will continue this way until one of the following happens:

Option 1: All players except one fold their cards.

  • In this case, the last player (winner) gets all the money in the pot, irrespective of the cards held, and his cards are not exposed to anyone.

Option 2: All except two players fold and one of the final two players at their turn pays for a show.

  • In this case, the cards of both players are displayed and compared. The player with the better hand wins. However, if both players have the same hand, the player who did not ask for the show wins.

Step 5: The rules for a show are as follows:

  • A show cannot occur until only 2 players remain.
  • The current stake is the bet placed by the player betting before you.

- If you are a blind player

  • You must ask for a show on paying the current stake if the other player is blind.
  • It would be best to ask for a show on paying half the current stake. If the other player is seen,
  • You do not get to look at your cards until after paying for the show.

- If you are a seen player

  • You can ask for a show for twice the current stake if the other player is blind,
  • You can ask for a show for the current stake if the other player is seen,

- If all the players are seen

  • Then during your turn, immediately after betting the minimum amount (which is twice the current stake), you can ask the player betting immediately before you for a compromise. This is also known as a sideshow. The player has the option to accept or refuse the compromise.
  • When the compromise is accepted, the two players independently compare their cards. The player with the lower-ranking cards is required to fold. If they are equal, the player asking for the compromise must fold.
  • If the compromise is refused, the betting continues with the next player, i.e., after the one who asked for the compromise.

Step 6: Running out of money

If you run out of money, you can opt to continue playing or fold.

  • To continue playing, you can either bring more money into the table from your main account or go all-in.
  • Side pots are created to determine the winner(s) when you go all-in,
  • A side pot is a separate pot to which only some players contribute; therefore, all are not eligible to win. A side pot occurs when a player goes all-in, and others continue to bet more than the all-in player.

Betting type

There are five different types of betting in a flush card game that can be used for each player whenever it is their turn to place a bet. They are:

Entry Fee/Boot/Ante

An entry fee is a small amount put in the pot by every player or a single player on a rotational basis. This amount is mandatory before the start of every game and is the first amount put in the pot. This entry fee is also called the Boot or the Ante.

Blind

Every deal of the Flush Cards Game calls for two blinds put in the pot by two players. The player sitting next to the dealer puts in the small blind, which is half of the bet, and the next player puts in the big blind, which is the maximum bet. Once the game begins, the players who do not look at their cards are called blind players, and those who have looked at their cards are called seen players. Whenever a blind player posts a bet, the seen player needs to put double the amount in the pot to stay in the game.

The dealer can set a maximum bet amount for the blind players and the number of rounds a player can play blind.

Betting in flush card game

Call and Raise

Call and Raise are actions that put bets in the pot. Each player needs to place a bet to advance in that round of the game. If a seen player is placing a bet, it needs to be double the amount of money that a blind player placed as a bet. These actions are also called 'cheap'. This betting structure is very different from poker. In the Flush Cards Game, if the first player bets an amount of 5 and the second player raises the betting amount by 10, the first player would have to put an extra 10 to stay in the game instead of matching it by another 5.

The dealer can set a maximum bet amount for the blind and the seen players.

Fold

The fold is used when a player quits the game for that match. They can quit the game at any point, but the player has to forfeit the money he put in the pot.

Moves

There are four basic plays or moves in this game. These are the only moves used in the game, so keep them in mind when you play them online. They are:

Blind

When someone plays blind, that means that that particular player has not seen his cards.

Play

All the players can look at their cards at any given point in the game. If they choose to do so, they will have to put double the amount of money put in by players playing blind when the time comes to place a bet. This play is also called a chain.

Sideshow, Backshow and compromise

A sideshow or Back show is used when two players compare their hands. This can only be done after both the players have looked at their cards. A player can only request the player who placed the previous bet for a sideshow or a back show. The player to whom this request has been made reserves the right to decline the sideshow or the back show request. After both the players have compared their cards, one has to 'compromise' and fold their cards.

Show

In this game, one of two things can happen for the betting to stop and the winner to be declared. All but one player fold their cards, or all but two players fold their cards. In the latter, when only two players are left, one can ask for a 'show' or ask the other player to show their card after depositing a small amount of money in the pot. There are certain rules for a show. They are:

  • If a seen player asks a blind player for a show, they have to deposit four times the bet at that given point in the pot.
  • If a seen player asks another seen player for a show, they have to deposit two times the bet at the given point of time in the pot.

Ranking of Hands

There are six different hands in this game. Each hand is a combination of three cards. There is a certain hierarchy within these six hand combinations to determine the winner of the game. The ranking for these six hand combinations from the highest to the lowest is:

1) Three of a kind

This is the highest hand in the Flush Cards Game. This hand consists of three cards of the same number. The highest combination is three aces (A-A-A), and the lowest is three twos (2-2-2). This combination is also known as a trail or a trio.

2) Straight Flush

This is the second-highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards with consecutive numbers in the same suit. The highest combination is Ace-Two-Three (A-2-3), and the lowest is four-three-two (4-3-2). One combination to note is that King-Ace-Two (K-A-2) is not considered a straight flush but a regular one. This combination is also known as a pure sequence.

3) Straight

The straight hand is the third-highest in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards with consecutive numbers of different suits. The highest combination is Ace-Two-Three (A-2-3), and the lowest is four-three-two (4-3-2). This combination is also known as a sequence.

4) Flush

This is the fourth-highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards of the same suit. In this combination, if two people have the same flush combination, the high card flush wins. If two people have the same high card flush, the suits are looked at to determine the winner. This combination is also called colour.

5) Pair

This is the fifth-highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards, out of which two of them should be the same. For example, Ace-Ace-two (A-A-2), Three-Three-Five (3-3-5). In this case, if two players have the same pair, the third card is compared. This combination is also called the double.

6) No pair

This is the smallest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand has no combination but is judged upon its value. This highest card amongst the payers wins. This hand is also called the high card.

Determining the "best card game to play" can be subjective, as it depends on personal preferences and the preferences of the players involved. However, one card game that is widely regarded as a versatile and engaging option is "Poker."

Ranking of Suits

The suits are also ranked in this game. These rankings help determine the winner when two players have the same hand, i.e., the same cards with different suits. In those cases, the winner is determined by the suits their hands have. The ranking of these suits from the highest to the lowest is -

Variations of the Flush Cards game

The Flush Card Game can be played in a multitude of variations. Variations are different ways of playing the game or small modifications made. Multiple variations can be played simultaneously. Some of the most popular variations of the game are-

Best-of-four

In this variation, instead of being dealt three cards, each player is dealt four cards, out of which they must make the most favourable three-card combination.

Lowball

In this variation, the rankings of the numbers in each of the hands get reversed. For Example, the highest ranking of numbers in a three-of-a-kind combination is A-A-A, but in this variation, this ranking becomes the lowest, and the highest ranking becomes 2-2-2. The same reversal happens on every hand. This variation is also known as Muflis.

Wild Draw

In this variation, the dealer opens one random card, puts it on the table, and deals three cards to each player. Any player with the same number as that available card in their hand can use that card as a wild card, i.e. that card can be used as an imaginary card.

Low Wild

In this variation, the lowest-numbered card in the player's hand can be considered a wild card by that player. If the player has a pair of these low cards, then both are considered wild cards and can be used by the player accordingly.

High Wild

In this variation, the player’s hand’s highest-numbered card can be considered a wild card by that player. If the player has a pair of these high cards, then both are considered wild cards and can be used by the player accordingly.

Two Lowest Wild

In this variation, each player is dealt four cards, of which the two lowest cards form a wild card for the player to use. If the two lowest cards come in a pair in the player's hand, they are both considered wild cards. The catch in this variation is that if the two middle cards come in a pair, the player cannot form any wild cards.

Bust Card Draw

In this variation, each player is dealt three cards as standard. The dealer then opens one random card and puts it on the table. If players have the same numbered card in their hand, they are supposed to fold. If they do not have that same numbered card in their hand, they can continue with the game.

Stud

In this variation, each player is dealt a mixture of three cards, some of which are in his hand, and the remaining are faced down. The face-down cards are called hole cards, and the face-up cards are called street cards.

Community

Inspired by Texas Hold'Em Poker, each player is dealt with two face-down cards in this variation. The rest of the cards dealt are centre in the centre of the table which is common to all the players and can be used to make a three-card combination. There are two options in this variation.

  • Three-Card Community- In this option, with two cards given to each player, only one card is opened in the centre.
  • Five-Card Community- In this option, three cards are opened in the centre, along with two cards given to each player.

Draw

In this variation, each player is dealt three cards, i.e. a full hand. The players can discard the cards they do not want and 'purchase' new cards from the dealer after putting in a pre-decided sum of money in the pot. Each player has this option for the first three rounds. After the first three rounds, this option of discarding cards and purchasing fresh cards does not apply. Each player can only discard and purchase one card in a round.

999

In this variation, each of the players is dealt a full hand. The players must arrange their cars so that when all the numbers on the cards are put together, the number is as close to 999 as possible. The winner in this variation is a person with a trail of 9s. In this variation, all face cards and cards with double digits hold a value of zero.

AK47

In this variation, each of the players is dealt a complete hand. Four cards- Ace, King, Four, and Seven of each suit are considered wild cards. If any player possesses any of these cards in any suit, they can use them as jokers or wild cards.

Cobra

In this variation, each of the players is dealt a single card. All the players must put a pre-determined amount in the pot. The players must hold their cards on their foreheads for everyone to see. They cannot look at their card. The highest card then wins.

Blind Kind and jack

In this variation, each player is either dealt four or three cards. Any player with a king or a jack with only one visible eye and a side profile can use these cards as wild cards.

There are many more variations to the game. Many people make their variations to customize the game to their liking, and you can even play these variations online.

"Spit Card Game" is a fast-paced and competitive shedding-type card game that demands quick reflexes and sharp observation skills. Also known as "Speed" or "Rapid," the game is typically played by two players, each with their own deck of cards. The objective is to be the first to get rid of all your cards by playing them onto shared piles in ascending or descending order.

High Card Flush

Here are some poker flush rules:

The High Card Flush is another variation of the game. This variation differs from all the others as this game is played against the dealer. In the game of High Card Flush, there is only one recognized hand combination- The Flush. The player with higher cards, i.e. High Card Flush, wins.

This game has two betting methods- the Ante and the Raise. The Ante is the bet that has to be placed at the beginning of the game, and the Raise is the bet that can be placed at the beginning of every round. In the High Card Flush, the player and the dealer receive seven cards each through which they have to form a flush with the highest cards, i.e., the High Card Flush.

A flush with seven cards trumps a flush with six cards, which trumps a flush with five cards; The folding rules are the same for the High Card Flush as Flash or Teen Patti. The player may choose to fold his cards at any time but will have to forfeit his bet.

The High Card Flush is a game that can be played with two or more people, whereas Flash or Teen Patti requires more.
