Lego Mindstorms

The Lego Mindstorms Darkside Developer Kit is available at Dick Smith Electronics and Tandy stores for a retail price of $98.

The kit includes a micro-scout computer and 578 Lego building pieces enabling uses to build walking Star Wars robots. The micro-scout computer has a built-in light sensor, a built-in motor, and seven behaviour patterns. The kit also includes a written building guide.
